Steganography
Steganography is the art of concealing information in art. The ancients, relying on perspective anamorphosis, concealed knowledge of the beings in the archaeological record.Perspective anamorphosis requires the perspective of the individual to see past the initial steganography. This perspective could be a physical wone, such as location as Bayon Temple, Cambodia, or The Temple of Hathor in Egypt where the distantce and angle of the observer dictates the clarity of the illusion.
More importantly, the perspective anamorphosis relies on the knowledge of the viewer to see past the steganography to reveal the being concealed within. Believing is Seeing.
Motifs include the Arms as Face motif, where folded arms aid in forming a therianthropic face concealed within a figure, or The Brilliance motif which requires the viewer to defocus their eyes to reveal ancient “squint imagery”.
